Here at WKW Precision Engineering we place ourselves as one of Yorkshire’s top subcontract engineers. Based in the North of England we produce high tolerance precision components, manufactured to exacting customer requirements.

Through the relentless dedication of our highly skilled and motivated team, the company has achieved all the requirements for quality accreditation. As a customer you can be sure that any enquiry or orders placed, will be handled professionally from beginning to end. Our Quality system has now been updated to ISO9001:2015 together with our FIT 4 Nuclear status.

WKW Precision Engineering will provide you with the complete service for all your machining needs, specialising in:

C.N.C. Milling, C.N.C. Turning, C.N.C. EDM (Wire & Spark Erosion) Gear Cutting, Tool & Cutter Grinding, Hardness and LPI Inspections, Co-ordinate Measuring Inspections, Internal and External Grinding & Horizontal Boring.

Industries that we currently manufacture for are in the Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Food, Machine Tool Trade, Rail and Subsea Exploration. With our current capabilities we have completed projects and shipped to countries such as Norway, U.S.A., Singapore, Nigeria, India, Poland, Mexico, Australia and Brazil.

WKW Precision Engineering is continuing its mission to be one of Yorkshire’s top subcontract manufacturer of high tolerance precision engineered components. With manufacturing and inspection facilities all managed under ISO 9001:2015 we offer a one stop bespoke service in almost all areas of manufacturing and finishing, that include the experience of working with a wide range of standard and exotic materials. As a company we are proud of our commitment to produce accurate quality components to customer specification and instruction using the extensive knowledge and expertise of our workforce. As one of our primary goals we pride ourselves in great customer relations and service ensuring we process short and long term orders, providing a high quality product at a competitive price with on time delivery as key.

What We Do

EDM Machining

Electrical Discharge Machining (E.D.M.), sometimes also referred to as spark machining, spark eroding, burning, die sinking, wire burning or wire erosion, is a manufacturing process where a desired shape is obtained by using electrical discharges.

C.N.C. Machining & Turning

Milling is the term used for a machining process using rotary cutters to remove a material from a work piece by moving in a direction at an angle with the axis of the tool. It covers a wide variety of different operations and machines.

Gear Cutting

Gear cutting is any machining process that can manufacture a gear. Common processes include broaching, milling and grinding where we can provide straight and helical gears.

Other Services

We can provide customers with straight and helical gears, bevels, worm/worm-wheels, racks, splines, serrations, keyways and broaching (splines, serrations, squares, rectangles and hexagons). Screws and thread forms is also available.
